Hello Meezmeyer fans! We apologize for not updating the Web site more often but we’ve been busy putting the final touches on our epic WWll Internet film, “Broken Heroes.” If the pilot tests positive, we intend to produce six to eight episodes focusing on an elite team of commandos sent behind enemy lines to prepare the allies for D-Day.
I’m still busy with my weekly arts column, “Center Stage” and Craig is editing multiple projects that are helping to get us more attention. The Farmington Valley Film Commission is closer to having its online Web site up and running. Craig and I are also producing an online promo for the FVFC.
We’re still looking for local volunteers to help in front of and behind the camera. If you are a student looking to get extra credit and a foot in the door to the industry, give us a shout.
We will slowly be changing the format of our site from a “comedy only” to a variety of projects we want you to be aware of. We will also be adding a Blog and more information on a regular basis.
Thanks for your many years of support and we will see you soon.
Steve and Craig
Star Trek vs Star Wars (Another Nerd's Fantasy)
Meezmeyer is always searching for new talent as well as
crew people for behind the scenes. Actors should email pictures
and resumes.
We are also looking for crew people (specifically: videographers,
production assistants and still photographers). Please
email resumes with experience.
It should be noted there is no pay for your services. You
will get online credit and a copy (DVD or VHS) of your work.
Most shoots will only require a few hours of your time. We
prefer to use people living in the Hartford area but we will
make exceptions. Passionate artists only, please. If you
don't love what you do, why bother showing up and boring
us?
